Nu startas ett demonstrationsprojekt för energigemenskaper i Örebro och Stockholm. Där ska RISE tillsammans med KTH undersöka möjligheterna till delning av energi mellan fastigheter, lokal solelproduktion och lokala energilagringslösningar.

    I projektet bildas två energigemenskaper. En kommer att finnas i ett befintligt bostadsområde i Hammarby Sjöstad i Stockholm  och omfattar 672 lägenheter. Den andra finns i det nybyggda bostadsområdet Tamarinden i Örebro. Där finns 700 lägenheter. Hos Örebro kommun finns även en ambition att implementera lösningen i alla lägenheter i Örebro framöver.
