Goda resultat med hampakalk som isoleringsmaterial
BYGGMATERIAL Hampakalk är ett relativt nytt byggnadsmaterial som började användas i Frankrike under 90-talet. Nu visar försök från Lunds Tekniska Högskola att materialet fungerar väl som tilläggsisoleringsmaterial för historiska byggnader och kan minska energianvändningen för uppvärmning med 33 procent.

– Hampakalk är ett poröst material och påminner, även om det inte är det, om historiska byggmaterial som lera med halm eller tagel, berättar Paulien Strandberg-de Bruijn, forskare på Lunds Tekniska Högskola (LTH).
