LCA Även den enklaste formen av livscykelanalys, LCA, av en byggnad ger möjlighet att minska klimatutsläppen från bygget med 30 till 50 procent. IVL kommer till årsskiftet med ett gratisverktyg för LCA-beräkningar.

Det finns stora möjligheter att spara in på klimatutsläppen i byggbranschen. För beställaren handlar det framför allt om att ställa krav på betongen, som står för en stor del av byggnadens klimatpåverkan.

    – Betongen är verkligen viktig att följa upp. Det är där det oftast blir en förändring i jämförelse med förfrågningsunderlaget, när produktionen väljer betong som ska torka snabbt istället för betong med låg klimatpåverkan, säger Martin Erlandsson.
