Byggnadsintegrerade solceller i form av fasadmaterial har börjat dyker upp lite här och där. HSB har i samarbete med teknikkonsultbolaget Bengt Dahlgren jämfört solcellsplattor och andra fasadmaterials klimatpåverkan.

    – Utvecklingen inom området går snabbt och vi ville undersöka om byggnadsintegrerade solceller är ett bra alternativ till mer traditionella fasadmaterial ur ett hållbarhetsperspektiv. På HSB Living Lab består taket och fasaden till stor del av solceller, och vi har redan sett att det kan vara en lika kostnadseffektiv lösning som traditionella fasadmaterial, säger Emma Sarin, projektchef HSB Living Lab i ett uttalande.
